This boat has been sold!
We have decided to sell our 1985 Performance Trawler "It's About Time" after 7 years of liveaboard cruising up and down the east coast from Maine to the Florida Keys. This has been a very dependable and comfortable cruiser. We completed the Great Loop in 2016, a journey of over 5000 miles and 106 Locks. This boat has a great layout for a liveaboard couple. She is in great shape mechanically and just needs some cosmetic work, inside and outside.
She is powered by a very reliable single Perkins T6.354M Diesel engine and has a Dickinson Hydraulic stern thruster providing excellent maneuverability in port. The heat exchanger on this boat was completely reconditioned by TAD Diesel in Virginia in 2016. Electrical requirements are met by two 245 Watt Solar Panels (New 2013) and an 8KW Northern Lights Generator.

The Communications at the upper helm consist of a new (2018) Standard Horizon GX2200 VHF Radio with integrated GPS and AIS. It has the remote Microphone installed at the lower helm. The lower helm also features a Standard Horizon Quest GX1256S VHF Radio w/DSC functionality. Two AM/FM/CD Stereo radios (one Upper and one in salon) provide musical entertainment.

The upper helm is the primary steering station on this boat and has comfortable seating for at least 7 people. It is enclosed on three sides providing excellent protection when underway in rainy conditions. The isinglass was replaced three years ago and is in nearly new condition. There is large storage areas in the front of the bridge and storage underneath all of the benches. Vinyl cushions and seat backs have been well maintained.
